Shaffer Lab, UCLA
I earned by PhD in Biology from UCLA in June 2019. I conducted my work in the Shaffer Lab in the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology and my dissertation is titled, "An Integrative Population and Landscape Genomic Approach to Conservation of a Threatened California Amphibian at Multiple Spatial Scales." I am interested in the open access of science and knowledge; blockchain and token economies and their potential role in streamlining science and data validation; and in the application of genomics and spatial analysis to biological conservation.
